The same group that made up a storyline since 2005 The same people that worked and fooled me since the locker leaks. On a side note posters like you and others have kept the hunt , the real information and historical facts for this community alive. I thank you and the others. Could it be on the unleaked Village sessions disc sure. But it seems like a song that could've lined the hoarders/sellers pockets so why don't they ever mention it ? On 12/10/2023 at 10:49 PM, Bill Brasky said: They are trying to get most value of what they have left. They did a lot of damage control when Rick obtained the locker leaks From gnr evo weeks ago. http://www.gnrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?pid=352306#p352306 Well what about the other village disc ? Tell us what your goals were as the chairman hypothetically ? It seemed from the outside that the group had a individual whoses purpose was to control Rick and not let him affect the value of the assets of the hoarders and the rest of the village session disc uncirculated that they posses. So "hypothetically" the hoarders already accepted what rick had would leak so take the loss and prevent him from doing more damage was their gameplan. A bullshit outdated useless pdf a couple of poems for entertainment and leak the rest of the village stuff from the rick /bird purchase so the community would feel they got everything. Meanwhile the hoarding group maintains the rest of the village session disc that are uncirculated. Thoughts Dark ? 2 Quote
Trumpy Bear Posted November 6 Posted November 6 What are the chances any of this gets dropped? Tom would get sued if he releases it so I'm not sure whether this is anything to get excited about. Quote

He was only with the band from February 2001 to November 2001 I think it's accepted that he was the one who compiled the "rough mix" discs that Bob Ezrin heard in March 2001 (upon which he told Axl he only had 2 good songs) Only other noteworthy things that happened in that timeframe were GNR's European tour getting cancelled in May 2001, and the Vegas 1/1/2001 DVD/VHS getting cancelled in September 2001 A better quality version of the Vegas show on DVD/VHS or an unheard disc from The Village sessions is probably the best we can hope for Quote
wasted Posted November 7 Posted November 7 So The General, Monsters, Seven, Oklahoma, The Shaq Rap and DjAshba's 12 demos are all on the Missing Disc? 1 Quote

ThePurpleLightSaber Posted November 7 Posted November 7 Seems like bait to me imagine if you turn up to that sheriffs office and the great khali is sitting at the booking desk with a giant purple dildo with rechargeable batteries Quote

MAGATRON Posted November 8 Posted November 8 Zoot’s sick of selling used cars, so he’s selling Chinese Democracy demos instead. But he can’t come right out and say it because Axl would sue him. You gotta admire the hustle. This is the same guy who signed both Motley Crüe and Guns N’ Roses. If Axl gets a hundred million for the catalog, surely Zutaut deserves $4000 from Rick N’ Co. for the Chinese Democracy demos. 1 Quote
gunsntortillas Posted November 8 Posted November 8 They're trying to trade Oh My God for the studio version of Liquor and Whores. Too bad it has Ashba on it. :( 1 Quote
gunsntortillas Posted November 8 Posted November 8 The two most radio friendly hit songs of the CD era were written by Tommy Stinson and Bubbles. 1 Quote
wasted Posted November 8 Posted November 8 I want to hear the version of Atlas Shrugged that sounds like "a glam rock November Rain" 2 Quote
gunsntortillas Posted November 8 Posted November 8 The story behind Liquor and Whores is that Axl liked the song so much that the band recorded it. If you aren't familiar with the actor who plays Bubbles, Mike Smith, he was actually part of a band in the 90s who were signed to a major label. So he does have some credibility as a professional musician prior to becoming famous in the Trailer Park Boys. Apparently when Axl invited "Bubbles" to lay down vocals, Mike Smith showed up. This upset and confused Axl, because he thought Trailer Park Boys was a documentary. Combined with GNR not owning the rights to the song, this ultimately led to it being shelved, despite DJ trying to persuade Axl that it could be Axl's 'Far Away Eyes' but with the sensibility of Buckcherry as if it was remixed by Neil Young. Ultimately, the song was played once on a South American AM radio station and one of the hoarders was able to capture it before GNR management got the tapes back. 5 Quote

It's sad that this band has become such a parody that I can't tell if this is satire or not. 3 2 1 Quote

gunsntortillas Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Look how happy Axl is here. It is like a kid at his own birthday party. This is what was taken away from him when Mike Smith showed up to record without the glasses. Apparently he got over it, but it probably cost us a single at the time. 1 2 Quote
Salsh Borski Posted November 10 Posted November 10 If Rick buys any more leaks I just pray to god we don’t have to hear the endless repetitive stories of how he obtained it. I can’t deal with that shit again 1 Quote

Faxl Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Monsters & The General really confused me. Due to the former, I want to hear as much unreleased stuff as possible. Due to the latter, I want absolutely fucking none of it whatsoever. 1 Quote
FATAD Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Apparently GNR/TB is threatening to sue Zutard. Attached Ricks comment on his YouTube channel to the legal letter. Zutard will probably post the letter. Just like I expected the moment TB would find out about Zutards yt channel. 1 Quote
