1. The Duff Anal moisturiser for those after anal bleaching sessions.

2. For our Frank drummer fans, The word 'shit' on a screenprinted tshirt .

3. A "never ever give up' tattoo you can put across your forearm to remind yourself of your not so sober way of life.

They should pay this guy for the idea and just release the box set as it is

It contains Live DVD's so that will never happen.

The AFD Box Set completely ignored the AFD Tour like it never even happened.

And the only Live Tracks on the CD's we're B-sides from 1987 U.K. singles, they didn't even include the rest of that show at The Marquee in London those songs we're recorded at even though it's easily available.

No DVD of The Ritz.

The MTV Concert that was played constantly, and pushed AFD to become a #1 album in the U.S. before the first Retail Single (SCOM) had even been released from the album in the U.S.

A #1 Album in the U.S. without a Hit Single was unheard of in 1988.

The year long AFD Tour that was mostly in the U.S.,   along with The Ritz concert is what broke the band.

It was what made them.

It ended in the Summer of 1988 just as the albums first single in the U.S. SCOM reached #1.

What came after was a string of hit singles.

With WTTJ, Paradise City, and Patience all reaching the Top 10.

It was the Tour that paved the way for all of it.

And they shit on it like it never happened in the Box Set

I know the UYI Box has advertised a couple shows, but it will probably be Audio only because GnR just love to shit on the past.

Live footage of the band in their heyday wouldn’t help flog tickets for the pile of cock that’s touring right now. It’s a stark contrast and one FatAxl is not willing to highlight. One of the most gripping frontmen in rock turned into a fat lesbian who can’t sing.

This is pretty cool. I’d buy that if the price were right.

But we know whatever is eventually released will be shit in comparison, overpriced and bloated.

Do you think anybody actually used any of the stupid shit that was in the AFD box? I bought it (mostly cuz i thought the box itself looked cool), and would've used the oldschool purple flag in my basement, but ran outta room. Other than the music in it, I'd be embarrassed if someone opened it and saw all the rings and temporary tattoos. Even my shitlib bandmates would probably call me a faggot.

It's just a bunch of junk thematically linked to AFD that is cheap to make. It's not even stuff that can really be displayed. I guess if someones apartment smells like cigarettes and their  parents being ashamed of them, they could hang the GNR flag in their living room for the Amazon delivery guy to see when they open the door, because if someone is the kind of person to hang an Appetite' flag in their living room, they have no friends or family who visits them. Because if they did have friends or family who visits them, those friends and family would care enough to call them a stupid idiot for having a flag of an 80s shit metal band proudly displayed, and they would quickly correct their behavior by displaying something more socially acceptable like pictures of crime scenes or their own hand written poetry about their high school girlfriend.

With that said, you can now get the AFD box for something like $350 with a coupon code. The vinyl alone would cost close to $350 at retail if they were individual releases. If I didn't think they had a warehouse of thousands of them, and that they will blow the price out even more, I might be tempted to buy one. That way, anytime my ego gets out of control, I can look at that stupid box set and realize I am just as flawed as everybody else.

$999.99 would have been a fair price if it were limited to 1000, because it would likely hold it's value or come pretty close. 10,000 produced was comical. I am hoping they do the same thing for the UYI set so we can all pick it up at a discount in a few years off the backs of people who were foolish enough to buy it at full price.
