Yeah, churches, doves, bullets. Hard Boiled was maybe better known. Chungking Express was good but that's a different director I think. wasted
The director who did Chungking Express (Wong Kar-Wai) also did My Blueberry Nights and Eros that I did see once without knowing. Eros is different directors, Blueberry is very sentimental. He also did Fallen Angels. I missed all the ones in between.

DieselDaisy
Carpenter's They Live. Just a documentary on covid, isn't it?
DieselDaisy
I watched a few of his a few months ago. Seven and Zodiac are borderline masterpieces. Panic Room is good. The Game is great but he botched the ending. Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a bit messy but still decent. I think Fincher's reputation has suffered because his debut was Alien 3! He is a fine director but....Alien 3! Fincher never saw a yellow lens filter he didn't like.
Guest The Monkey
The Killer The compositing work for this movie is pretty shoddy upon closer inspection. That aside, the craft on display is leagues better than modern movies. I think it probably could've used a little more edge to it to put it over the top, I found myself missing Fassbender's voiceovers as the movie progressed, but "always leave them wanting more" and all that. MAGATRON
Fincher’s got five modern classics in Se7en, Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, and Gone Girl. And then Panic Room and The Game are both really solid genre movies. Zodiac is my favourite movie to come out in the 2000’s. I have probably watched it close to a 100 times. Guest The Monkey
The Social Network is really entertaining but it's almost not even a movie. Dragon Tattoo, Zodiac, and Gone Girl are my favorite Fincher movies.
