Nobody here besides three people give a rat's ass about the NFL, but this is the talk for the next season. 

 

I am reminding everyone that Belichick is 77-90 without Tom Brady and he is overrated.

I am pleased they brought back their nineties uniforms. 

 

The general opinion I have, is that every updated uniform is terrible besides maybe Denver. 

 

Miami's current redesign? Perhaps the worst logo ever made. Jets? Horrible. Rams? Horrible. Washington? Horrible. 

 

They need to go back. Nineties Vikings. Nineties Miami. Nineties Falcons. Every team really.

The Pac-12 is gone. 

 

Basically all the big schools in the country (USC, UCLA, OU, and Texas) decided to be greedy and switch conferences. Colorado, Washington and Oregon said, "see ya" and split to other conferences recently.

 

Oh yeah, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston, & UCF went to the Big-12 last year. 

 

Clemson and FSU want out of the ACC. 

 

Now there will only be two power conferences. The Big-10 and the SEC. 

 

It's disgusting. It's a shit show. It's a mess. 

 

Like I said, I don't know if you follow college football, but regional sports has been murdered. There is no reason to have sixteen team conferences when teams play eight conference games a year. 

 

The expanded playoffs may be the saving grace for college football, but the whole saga of conference realignment is insane. I feel like ESPN ruined the game with their tv deals, and as a result, we have super conferences with teams that will never play each other. 

 

Coincidentally ESPN is in financial trouble and firing all their talk people. It's like they figuratively walked into a party, said "fuck you" to everyone, took a giant shit on the floor, and burned the house down. 

 

I wish @MrThickDick was here to give his asinine contrary opinion, but he's gone and I don't know who to talk to. I guess I should tell my feelings to my therapist.

I'm not aware of UW or Oregon officially declaring. But yeah, Pac 12 in some shit at the moment. This shit is gonna turn into the streaming wars real quick. I feel like if they get too bold, their backlash is gonna be big and quick. You don't fuck with people's college football.

If I recall correctly, Gavin Newsom said he was going to block UCLA from going anywhere since it's a state school. Though who the fuck knows what's gonna happen. Fucking bullshit if you ask me. Conference should be determined by the NCAA not whoever feels like going wherever because ESPN says so.

This team sucks. We are once again going 10-7 only to lose to the 49ers or some other predictable outcome.

All in all I think we can all agree that Jalen Hurts looks like a smug bastard, Sean Payton can go suck a fat dick, and fuck the Bears.

Hurts kinda has reason to be smug. He's had a pretty good first few years. Doubt the Vikes are going anywhere as far as the name. Minnesota and Green Bay have nothing to live for except football, they can't get Redskinned because no one gave a fuck about the Redskins anyway.

 

Fully agree that Sean Payton and his perpetual Blue Steel face can get fucked. Though I wish nothing but good things to Russell Wilson now that we've gotten our draft picks and he's in a different division.

You have the best receiver in the league in Jefferson but sadly a mediocre qb.

If you're going to pay attention to the Broncos, watch for Marvin Mims. 

 

Not only was he a stud for OU, he is a class act. They interviewed him on the radio and he has a good head on his shoulders.

I don't think I'd go as low as "mediocre" for Cousins. Certainly not elite, and very certainly not worth the money that stupid teams (sorry Nate) have doled out for him. But he's solid.

The Patriots offensive tackles are a major issue.  Trent brown  can't stay healthy and mac jones is shit when under pressure. 

 

Buffalo will win the afc east and the jets will finish last.

Elite QBs bankrupt teams and lead teams into the shitter. Solid QBs that accept that money are how you build a strong team. That and draft capital. You think Matt Hasselbeck was good? Hell no, but he got his ass an NFC Championship ring.

 

Point is, Cousins is unfortunately Andy Dalton but paid like he's elite.

It comes down to how well you play in the post season. 

 

I will always be a fan of Nick Foles for this reason. He won when it mattered. I also had him in fantasy football so I am extremely biased. 

 

Back to my point. He threw ducks half the year but in the playoffs, he fucking won. 

 

Case Keenum threw that pass to Diggs to beat the Saints a few seasons ago when the game was over. Is Cousins better than Keenum? No question, but Keenum had the it factor for even a split second. A mediocre QB with the it factor is more valuable than a QB that gets insane stats in the regular season and shits their pants when the game is on the line. 

 

These GMs get wrapped up in stats and a guy that can throw a nice ball, but the game is gritty as fuck. That element is not appreciated anymore. Eli Manning sucked ass for over a decade and he won two rings. He had the it factor. Cousins does not have the it factor. 

 

When you a QB that slays in the regular season and has the it factor like Patrick Mahomes, you have very little to worry about. That is the guy you want on your team. 

 

Cousins is half that. He shows a spark in the regular season but the bulb is dead in January.

I had Tom Brady for 20 years so i don't understand lol.

 

Remember i did have to suffer in 2020 with Cam Newton and i still don't know if Mac is good or not because last year we had no offensive coordinator.

Belichick isn't as good of a coach people think he is. Brady was the man behind New England's success. Belichick has a LOSING record without Brady. 

 

Zappe may take Mac's job this year. Report is he is doing better than Big Mac in camp.
