The Vikings draft what people are calling the safest Qb in the draft in JJ McCarthy. 160 mil for 4 years. What the shit, Atlanta? Planning on playing your 1st round lick any time soon? Speaking of paying a QB then drafting, why the fuck did the Vikes give Sam Darnold $10 fucking million? He's a backup, and a mediocre one. Minshew, I believe considered the best backup (go Cougs) was pulling like 7. Hawks' new defensive coach gets his D lineman. Like the pick. 1 Quote
Bill Brasky Posted April 27 Posted April 27 @Bran @Trumpy Bear Patrick Paul is a stud LT. Great human being too it appears. Congrats boys. 2 Quote

Trumpy Bear Posted May 11 Posted May 11 @Bill Brasky Figured I'd put this here. Did you enjoy the Brady roast? I loved it. Even Robert Kraft and Bellichick had a sense of humor. I was shocked at how funny Drew Bledsoe was. Anyone who hasn't watched it should definitely check it out. It shits all over wokeness. 1 Quote

Bledsoe was great , Edelman was very good. Niki Glazer and Tony Hinchcliffe were the best roasters. Brady getting mad over the massage palor joke was a bad look. Belichick the greatest head coach in the history of football was excellent. The worst were Bert Krisher and his podcast partner. Randy moss wasn't good and Gronk wasn't much better. 1 Quote
Bill Brasky Posted May 25 Posted May 25 I like Aaron Rodgers. Don't agree with him on everything but think he's in the class of Peyton Manning and Drew Brees. Definitely not in the class as Tom Brady or Joe Montana. 1 Quote

His statistics were in a league of their own. He was throwing thirty passes a game with five incompletions and four touchdowns. Backyard football numbers. Green Bay should have won a few more Super Bowls. Quote

I don't put him in the second tier of Manning or Elway Third tier though with Farve , Brees and Aikmen seems like a good fit for Rodgers. 2 Quote

I'd put him exactly where Peyton is. 1 Super Bowl earlier on, fell off, came back and won a second with a new team and retired. I'd say he's right on pace to be Manning. 1 Quote
AxlisOld Posted August 13 Posted August 13 @arnold layne Welp, there goes JJ. Knee surgery. Allegedly a meniscus, so not super serious, but not what you want from your first rounder. Quote

Maybe caden wallace will become a good tackle. But the other guys suck. They have to put owenue at RT Wallace at LT Sow at RG Andrews at C and Robinson at LG. But that means your entire left side of the o line are mid round rookies. Quote

Elway had no rings until he had Terrell Davis and a top defense. Mahomes as good as he is wouldn't have won the Super Bowl this year without his defense. He was trash and still got another ring. Peyton's last year he won the Super Bowl in spite of his poor play because of his defense. Montana always has a great defense and RB. I wish Marino had this Dolphins roster when he played. Solid defense and great run game. Quote

I always hated Aikman/Dallas but he's one of the best QBs of the 90s. Do you place him third due to the short duration of their dominance? Looking back, he was really only an elite QB for about four years. Quote
